Zone Conference pt. 1

Billings Zone Conference introductions
Two of the four zone conferences for the Montana Billings Mission were held this week. It was a great time of learning, feeling the Spirit, and enjoying the camaraderie that is found in any gathering of missionaries.

Billings lunch break
The Glendive, Billings, and Billings East zones joined together in the Heights for their conference on Wednesday. Those in attendance were privileged to hear from the Zone Leaders of each zone. Elder Child of the Glendive zone gave a stirring personal testimony of the importance of being obedient to Heavenly Father's commandments out of love and respect. Elder Sims of the Billings East zone asked all to think of their happiest moment in their lives to give perspective of what Heaven will be like. Elder Smith of the Billings zone reminded us that the most powerful resource in conversion is the Book of Mormon.

Dishing up some lunch in Worland
A similar spirit was felt on Friday as the members of the Wyoming North and Wyoming South zones met in Worland for their conference.  Elder Garcia from the Wyoming South zone shared his thoughts about how our desire should be to seek after the spiritual power promised to those who serve and live faithfully.  Elder Newman from the Wyoming North zone taught about how the Lord's promises of us being successful missionaries and how we can know we have been successful are sure.

Both conferences were uplifting and rejuvenating. Next week, two more zone conferences will take place on the west side of the mission. Until next week for part 2...
